Meissa Vaccines Finds Funding
South San Francisco-based Meissa Vaccines, biotech startup developing vaccines to prevent viral, respiratory infections, has raised a seed funding, the company said last week. Size of the funding was not announced. The funding came from FundRx. Meissa Vaccines is currently developing a live, attenuated RSV vaccine intended for infants. Meissa's CEO is Dr. Martin Moore.
