TuneIn Takes $50M For Online Radio
San Francisco-based TuneIn, which operates an online service which streams radio stations to listeners, has raised $50M more in funding, according to reports today. The funding came from Marker LLC, IVP, and Comcast Ventures, and also included Sequoia Capital, Causeway Media Partners LLC and General Catalyst Partners LLC. Bloomberg said the funding values TuneIn at around $500M. TuneIn is led by CEO John Donham.
