Roost, which develops sensors used to monitor homes for such things as water leaks, frozen pipes, and faulty smoke alarms, has raised $10.4M in a Series B funding, the company said today. The funding was led by Aviva Ventures, and also included Desjardins Insurance and Fosun RZ Capital, along with three, un-named insurance companies. The company says it has now raised $17M in total. Roel Peeters is co-founder and CEO of Roost.
