Tegile Systems Acquired By Western Digital
Newark, California-based Tegile Systems, a developer of flash-based storage for the enterprise data center market, has been acquired by Western Digital. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Tegile Systems was venture backed by August Capital, Meritech Capital, and SanDisk, in addition to Western Digital itself.
