Zum Picks Up $5.5M For Kids' Ride Services
Redwood City-based Zum, a startup which operates an after-school, ride service for kids 5 and older, says it has raised $5.5M in a Series A funding from Sequoia Capital. the startup, led by CEO Ritu Narayan, said that Bryan Schreier of Sequoia will join the company's board with the funding. Zum said the funding will support continued product and market expansion, as well as development of strategic partnerships and initiatives.
