Gigya Acquired By SAP
Mountain View-based Gigya, a developer of social marketing tools, has been acquired by SAP, SAP announced on Sunday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. SAP said that Gigya will become part of the SAP Hybris business unit. Gigya has more than 300 employees, and was venture backed by Intel Capital, Greenspring Associates, Benchmark Capital, Mayfield Fund, DAG Ventures and Advance Publications.
