San Francisco-based
Angaza
, a company which is using software and technology to enable "pay as you go" pricing on clean energy improvements for "off grid" customers, said this week that it has raised $10.5M in a funding round. The funding was led by Emerson Collective, and also included Salesforce Ventures, Rethink Impact, Social Capital, and Stanford StartX Fund. The company says it removes upfront price barrier of distributed solar products by enabling off-grid customers to prepay for clean energy products.
