ShiftLeft Snags $9.3M For Application Security
Santa Clara-based ShiftLeft, a developer of application security software, has raised $9.3M in a Series A funding round, the company said on Wednesday. The funding came from Bain Capital Ventures and Mayfield, along with angels. ShiftLeft's founder and CEO is Manish Gupta. The company said it uses the source code of applications to specifically create security agents to help address security issues with cloud-based applications.
