Allume Connects With $3M For Personal Shopping Service
Menlo Park-based Allume, an on-demand, personal shopping service, said this week that it has raised $3M in an investment round. The funding came from True Ventures. Allume says it uses personalized data to match women with expert stylists with similar tastes, helping clients to shop the Internet for clothing and accessories. Allume was founded by CEO Mauria Finley, who previously led the Home and Fashion divisions for eBay.
