Skybox Security Gets $150M For Cybersecurity Management Software
San Jose-based Skybox Security, a provider of cybersecurity management software for the enterprise, has raised $150M in a funding round, the company said on Wednesday. The growth equity funding was led by CVC Capital Partners and its CVC Growth Fund, and also included Pantheon. The company said $100M came from CVC Growth, and the remaining $50M from Pantheon. Skybox Security said the new funding will go towards potential M&A activity, in addition to sales and marketing, customer care and R&D. Skybox's co-founder and CEO is Gidi Cohen.
