Ayla Networks, a developer of software for extracting Internet-of-Things (IoT) data from enterprise networks, has raised $60M in a Series D funding. The funding was led by Run Liang Tai Fund (RLT) and Sunsea Telecommunications Co. Ltd., according to the company. Ayla's CEO and co-founder is David Friedman. The company has been focused on gathering data from HVAC equipment, large and small appliances, water management and home control, and says it is expanding into large retail, industrial, telco and service provider, and medical markets.
