San Francisco-based Zynga said on Tuesday that it has acquired the cards division of Peak Games, a Turkish company that develops mobile games. Peak Games is known for its mobile card games Spades PLus and Gim Rummy Plus, among others. Zynga will pay $100M in cash for the unit of Peak Games. Zynga said it expects to close the acquisition in Q4 of this year. Peak was venture backed by Earlybird Venture Capital, Endeavor Global and Hummingbird Ventures.
