EBR Systems Raises $50M For Wireless Heart Failure Treatment System

, a medical device developer which is developing wireleslly controlled, cardiac pacing systems used for treating heart failure, said yesterday that it has raised $50M in private equity funding. The funding came from Carnegie & Co. and Brandon Capital Partners plus Split Rock Partners Ascension Ventures and Emergent Medical Partners. The funds will go towards a heart failure treatment trial. EBR Systems' Chairman and CEO is Allan Will.
