Lyft has acquired most of the engineering team for livestreaming app developer
Kamcord--but is not buying any of Kamkord's livestreaming and social media technology. Financial details of the buy were not announced. As part of the acquisition, Kamcord will shut down its livestreaming and social media apps, which had been focused on gamers. Kamcord was venture backed by Time Warner, Plug & Play Ventures, Tencent, TransLink Capital, XG Ventures and Wargaming.
