Barracuda Networks Acquired By Thoma Bravo For $1.6B
Campbell, California-based Barracuda Networks said today that it has agreed to be acquired by private equity investor Thoma Bravo, in a deal worth $1.6 billion in cash. The two said that Thoma Bravo will pay $27.55 per share in cash for Barracuda's common stock. Barracuda said the offer is a 22.5 percent premium to the company's 10-day average stock price prior to November 27th. Barracuda is being advised by Morgan Stanley & Co., LLC and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the deal.
