Silver Spring Networks, Itron Get Antitrust Clearance
San Jose-based Silver Spring Networks and Liberty Lake, Washington-based Itron said this morning that the required waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 has expired, and they are now expecting their transaction to close in early 2018. Itron and Silver Spring Networks announced the $830M acquisition deal for Silver Spring in September.
