Report: Apple Buys Pop Up Archive
Cupertino-based Apple has acquired Oakland-based Pop Up Archive, a company which develops tools to transcribe and search audio podcasts, according to reports. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Pop Up Archive was backed by Bloomberg Beta, 500 Startups, and the Knight Foundation. Pop Up Archive's CEO was Anne Wootton.
