Menlo Security Gains $40M
Menlo Park-based Menlo Security, which develops malware isolation tools, said this morning that it has raised $40M in a Series C funding round. The funding came from American Express Ventures, Ericsson Ventures and HSBC, as well as JPMorgan Chase, General Catalyst, Sutter Hill Ventures, Osage University Partners and Engineering Capital. The company says it has now raised a total of $85M in funding. Menlo Security's CEO is Amir Ben Efraim. Menlo Security said the funding will allow it to sales and marketing of its platform.
