Apple Buys Buddybuild
Apple has acquired Vancouver, BC-based Buddybuild, a startup which operated a service to help customers build, test, and ship iOS apps. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Buddybuild said it team becomes part of Apple's Xcode engineering group, and will continue to stay in Vancouver. As part of the buy, Buddybuild said it will no longer accept new customers, with its "free" starter plans and Android tools being discontinued on March 1st.
