Genome Medical Gains $23M
San Francisco-based Genome Medical announced this morning that it has raised $23M in a Series A-1 funding, which came from GE Ventures, Kaiser Permanente Ventures and Illumina Ventures. Genome Medical said it has created a national medical practice focused on genomics, and was founded by Lisa Alderson, Randy Scott, PhD, and Robert Green, MD, MPH.
