Autonomic Acquired By Ford
Palo Alto-based Autonomic, a developer of cloud-based software for the mobility and automotive market, has been acquired by auto manufacturer Ford, to boost its mobility services for vehicle owners, Ford said today. The acquisition is being made by Ford Smart Mobility LLC. Financial details of the buy were not announced. According to Ford, Autonomic CEO Sunny Madra will become the lead of a new "Ford X" team.
