San Francisco-based
KeepTruckin, a developer of electronic log and fleet management software, said on Tuesday that it has raised $50M in a Series C funding. The funding was led by IVP, and also included Scale Venture Partners, Index Ventures, and Google Ventures. KeepTruckin's software is being used by trucking fleets to meet new ELD (Electronic Logging Device) requirements. Those requirements--mandated by the federal government--are aimed at reducing driver fatigue, however, are widely maligned but truck drivers and fleets. As part of the funding round, IVP's Sandy Miller joins KeepTruckin's board; IVP's Roseanne Wincek joins the company as a Board Observer.
