Mountain View-based storage and data management software developer Veritas said today that it has acquired fluid Operations AG, known as fluidOps, which develops software used to manage structure and unstructured data in the private, public, hybrid cloud, and on-premise markets. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Veritas said it will use the deal to enhance its 360 Data Management strategy, and to boost its portfolio in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
