Trimble Buys FabSuite
Sunnyvale-based Trimble has acquired Williamsburg, Virginia-based FabSuite, a developer of structural steel fabrication software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Trimble said the acquisition gives it a full range of software used for structural steel workflow planning, management, design, modeling, and automation. The new FabSuite software business becomes part of Trimble's Buildings and Infrastructure segment.
