Leanplum, which develops mobile marketing and personalization software, said today that it has upped its Series D funding to $52M. The new, $5M funding came from Waterwood Group, a Beijing-based private equity investor. Leanplum said it specifically will use the funding to scale and grow in China and the grater Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The company
announced the earlier $47M in the round in November, in a round led by Norwest Venture Partners, and also included Canaan Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Shasta Ventures.
