Google said this morning that it intends to make investments in startups working on applications for Google Assistant, the company's personal assistant software.
According to Google, it will invest in startups to provide additional financial resources for the development, hiring, and management of these startups, and will also provide advice and promotional support to those startups. Google said that, so far, it has invested in
GoMoment (hotel concierge),
Edwin (English as a foreign language teaching),
BotSociety (prototyping of voice interfaces), and
Pulse Labs (testing of voice applications).
