Emergence Capital announced this morning that it has raised $435M in a new fund, which will focus on early stage investments. Emergence said its new fund, ECP V, is "investing in people who change the way the world works." The firm last raised a fund in 2015, worth $335M. Emergence Capital's most successful investments include Salesforce, Veeva Systems, Box, SuccessFactors (acquired by SAP), Yammer (acquired by Microsoft), Zoom, ServiceMax (acquired by GE) and Intaact (acquired by Sage).
