Kittyhawk Lands $5M For Enterprise Drone Software
San Francisco-based Kittyhawk has landed $5M in a funding round, the company said this week. The funding was led by Bonfire Ventures, and also included Boeing HorizonX Ventures, Freestyle Ventures, and The Flying Object. The startup--which says it has now raised $6.5M--says it is developing a single platform where enterprises can manage the complexity of operators, aircraft, airspace, data analytics, insights and compliance to maximize safety and ROI. Kittyhawk was founded in March 2015.
