San Francisco-based Splunk announced this morning that it has acquired DevOps incident management software developer VictorOps, in a deal worth approximately $120M. Splunk said the deal is split between cash and Splunk securities. VictorOps is a developer of DevOps incident management software, used by development and DevOps teams to handle issues with their deployments. VictorOps was led by CEO Todd Vernon. Splunk said "nearly all" of the purchase price consideration will be paid in cash, funded from Splunk's balance sheet.
