G2VP, a new venture capital fund founded by David Mount, Daniel Oros, Ben Kortlang, and Brook Porter, has raised $350M in its first fund, which it says is focused on "digital technologies transforming industrial sectors". The company said the limited partners in the fund included global corporates, family offices, foundations, endowments and high net worth individuals, including venture capital veteran John Doerr. Mount, Porter, Kortlang, and Oros were all previously part of Kleiner Perkins Green Growth Fund (GGF), and were involved in such companies as OSIsoft, SilverSpring Networks, and ServiceMax.
