SolarEdge Buys Gamatronic Electronics Ltd.
SolarEdge, an Israeli developer of smart energy, photovoltaic, and other solar energy products which has its U.S. offices in Fremont, California, said this week that it has acquired Gamatronic Electronics Ltd.. Gamatronics is a develope rof Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The deal is worth approximately $11.5M. According to SolarEdge, approximately 100 of Gamatronic's employees have joined the company. Gamatronic will become a new division of SolarEdge.
