Marvell Technology Completes Cavium Buy
Santa Clara-based Marvell Technology Group, the publicly traded developer of semiconductors, said Friday that it has completed its acquisition of Cavium. The acquisition deal was worth approximately $6 billion. As part of the acquisition, Marvell said it has added three board members -- Syed Ali, Brad Buss and Dr. Edward Frank--to its board. Ali was co-founder of Vacium, and was its President, CEO, and Chairman; Buss and Frank were both on the board of Cavium.
