Nutanix, a developer of enterprise cloud computing software, said late Thursday that it has agreed to acquire
Mainframe2 (Frame), a developer of cloud-based, Windows desktop and application delivery software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Frame's tools are used to provide "desktop-as-a-service" from the cloud, helping IT administrators centrally manage their desktop deployments.
