Zendesk Acquires FutureSimple, Maker Of Base
San Francisco-based Zendesk announced on Monday afternoon that it has acquired FutureSimple, the company behind the Base sales force automation software. Financial details of that acquisition were not annoucned. Base, which was based in Mountain View and also has offices in Poland, was founded in 2009. According to Zendesk, it will invest in ongoing market growth and product development at Base, with a focus on the company's existing customers.
