MODE Finds $3M In Series A
San Mateo-based "MODE, a startup which is collecting data from the physical world for business data and analytics, has raised $3M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by True Ventures. According to MODE, it has now raised $5M in total. MODE says it has created artificial intelligence-enabled software for gathering sensor data from the real world for business applications. The company's co-founder and CEO is Gaku Ueda, an early member of the Google Maps team and who also was Director of Engineering at Twitter.
