Asaii Acquired By Apple
Berkeley-based Asaii, which develops software to help discover, track, and manage music artists and talent--and uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to attempt to identify trending and emerging artists--has been acquired by Cupertino-based Apple, according to reports this morning. Financial details of the deal--which has not yet been officially announced--have not been disclosed. Asaii claims its machine learning software "finds artists 10 weeks before they chart".
