Citus Data Acquired By Microsoft For PostgreSQL Tools
San Francisco- and Istanbul, Turkey-based Citus Data, which develops open source software for managing PostgreSQL, has been acquired by Microsoft, the companies said on Thursday. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Citus Data was co-founded by Ozgun Erdogan, Umur Cubukcu, and Sumedh Pathak; the company had offices in both San Francisco and Istanbul, Turkey.
