BrightBytes Acquired By Microsoft
San Francisco-based BrightBytes, the developer of personalized learnng software for the education and school district market, has been acquired by Microsoft. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. According to Microsoft, BrightBytes becomes part of its Microsoft global education team. BrightBytes had developed DataSense, a software platform used by education solutions providers and school districts for data management and collection across education apps. BrightBytes was based in San Francisco.
