San Francisco-based
Polymorph Labs, an ad technology and ad server developer, has been acquired by
Walmart, Walmart announced last week. Financial details of the buy were not annoucned. Walmart said the buy will help it boost its advertising business at Walmart Media group, including adding Polymorph's high-speed ad server, a self-serve interface and server-side header bidding technology. Polymorph was venture backed by Foundry Group, Rakuten, InterWest Partners and Onset Ventures, and had raised somewhere around $11M in total.
