mPrest Gets $20M For Industrial Monitoring Software

Menlo Park-based mPrest, a developer of industrial monitoring and control software, specifically aimed at mission-critical applications, has raised $20M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by GE Ventures, and also included funding raised from crowdfunding site OurCrowd. mPrest is led by Jon Medved, and got its start in the defense sector, offering up command and control systems. The company says it is now looking to expand internationally in the industrial and commercial markets. More information »
