Nebula Raises $25M For Private Cloud Computing

Palo Alto-based Nebula, a developer of cloud computing deployment software aimed at private cloud infrastructure, said today that it has raised $25M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Comcast Ventures, and also included Highland Capital partners, Kleiner Perkins, Innoation Endeavors, along with Andy Bechtolsheim, David Cheriton, Ram Shriram, Harris Barton, William Hearst III, Scott McNealy and Maynard Webb. The company also said it scored additional debt and credit form Silicon Valley Bank. Nebula is led by Chris C. Kemp, the former CTO of NASA and co-founder of the OpenStack project. More information »
