    Triggit Finds $7.4M For Facebook Targeting
    Triggit, a developer of Facebook ad targeting tools, has raised $7.4M in a Series B funding round, the company said Thursday. The round came from Spark Capital and Foundry Group, among others. Triggit, which is led by Zach Coelius, develops retargeting software that helps advertisers present their ads to Facebook users. Triggit is based in San Francisco.

    BitYota Raises $12M For Data Warehousing Service
    Mountain View-based BitYota has raised $12M in funding, from Globespan Capital Partners, Social+Capital Partnership, Dawn Capital, Crosslink Capital, Morado Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Jerry Yang, as well as others, the firm announced this week. BitYota, led by Dev Patel, provides a cloud-based data warehousing service which takes care of all the infrastructure required for data warehouse projects, provided as software-as-a-service.

    San Francisco- and Cambridge, Mass-based said this week that it has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding round, for its mobile health apps. The firm uses "big data" and smartphones to help monitor a person's health.     TranscribeMe Gets Funding From Angels
    Emeryville-based TranscribeMe, a developer of speech-to-text services, has raised $900,000 in funding from a syndicate of angel groups. The firm said the funding was led by the Keiretsu Forum, and which also included the Ice Angels, Maverick Angels, Sand Hill Angels, Sierra Angels and Tech Coast Angels.     Cisco Buys Cariden
    San Jose-based Cisco said this morning that it is acquiring Sunnyvale-based Cariden, a developer of network planning, design, and traffic management products. Cisco said it will pay approximately $141M in cash plus retention-based incentives for Cariden. Cariden's products are used by telecommunications providers for IP/MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) networks. Cariden becomes part of Cisco's Service Provider Networking Group.
