    Room 77 Finds $30.3M
    Mountain View-based hotel room search engine Room 77 has raised $30.3M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing from the company. Details on the funding have not yet been announced by the company.     Globant Gets $70M From WPP
    San Francisco-based Globant, a developer of software products for big brands, has received $70M in an investment from WPP. WPP said it acquired a 20%, minority stake in Globant, to help strengthen its digital capabilities. WPP said Globalnd had net revenues for the year ended December 31st of $90M, and six month revenues until June 30 of 2012 of $56.9M. Prior investors Riverwood Capital and FTV Capital continue to hold equity in Globant.

    Trimble Acquires ALK Technologies
    Sunnyvale-based Trimble said this morning that it has acquired ALK Technologies, a provider of mapping products for the transportation, logistics, and mobile workforce market. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Trimble said that ALK Technologies will become part of its Mobile Solutions segment. ALK Technologies was based in Princeton, NJ.

    Pinterest Buys Punchfork
    Palo Alto-based photo pinning and sharing site Pinterest has acquired fellow Palo Alto-based Punchfork, an online service which helps cooks find new recipes and share them with friends and family. Financial terms of the buy were not announced.     TSSLink Acquired By Avnet
    San Jose-based TSSLink, a provider of professional IT services, has been acquired by Avnet. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. TSSLink is a provider of technical support, consulting and outsourcing services, field product installation, end-user training and technical staff augmentation. According to Avnet, TSSLink had revenues of $10.5M for the 2011 calendar year.

    Leap Motion Snags $30M For Motion Sensing
    San Francisco-based Leap Motion, a developer of motion control software and hardware, said today that it has raised $30M in a funding round. The funding came from Highland Capital and its other existing investors. The firm, headed by Michael Buckwald, said the new funding will go towards scaling manufacturing.     Labrys Biologics Raises $31M
    San Francisco-based Labrys Biologics, a biopharmaceuticals firm focused on treatments for chronic migraine, said this morning that it has raised $31M in a Series A financing round. The round came from venBio, Canaan Partners, InterWest Partners, and Sofinnova Ventures. As part of the deal, Labrys said it acquired RN-307, a Phase 2 ready anti-CGRP humanized monoclonal antibody for the treatment of chronic migraine, from Pfizer. Labrys is headed by Steven P. James.
