    RocketLawyer Buys LawPivot
    San Francisco-based online legal documents and marketplace Rocket Lawyer has acquired LawPivot, an online legal question and answer service, the firms said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. LawPivot was based in Mountain View. Both companies are backed by Google Ventures. LawPivot was founded by Jay Mandal.

    Desti Books $1M For iPad Travel Guide
    Menlo Park-based Desti has raised $1M in additional, seed funding for the firm's iPad travel guide. The funding came from Carmel, SRI International, and Horizon Ventures, and brings its total raised to $2.55M. Desti's app is free on the iTunes Store.     ConnectSolutions Finds Funding
    San Francisco-based ConnectSolutions, a provider of private cloud management services for enterprise and government organizations, has scored $10M in a round of funding from Frontier Capital. According to the firms, the minority equity investment will go to support the company's continued expansion, and also provide liquidity for shareholders.
