    Cmune Scores Funding For Uberstrike
    Cmune, which develops the popular, 3D shooter game UberStrike on Facebook and other platforms, said this week that it has raised a new round of funding. Size of the investment was not disclosed. The funding came from DCM. Cmune says it has over 10 million registered players for Uberstrike. Cmune is led by Ludovic Bodin.

    First To File Acquired By CPA Global
    San Mateo-based First To File, a developer of electronic document management systems used for the intellectual property industry, has been acquired by CPA Global, a provider of IP software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to CPA Global, the acquisition will allow it to offer its clients, IP-specific, electronic document management systems. CPA Global is based in Jersey, Channel Islands.

    TVU Networks Snags New Funding
    Mountain View-based TVU Networks, which develops mobile broadcasting hardware for television transmissions, said today that it has landed a new round of funding. Size of the round was not disclosed. According to TVU Networks, the new funding was led by SoftBank Ventures Korea (SBVK), and also included Altos Ventures and New Atlantic Ventures.     Gynesonics Lands $21M In New Funding
    Redwood City-based Gynesonics, a developer of minimally invasive products for treating uterine fibroids in women, said today that it has raised $21M in a Series F funding round. The round was led by HBM Partners, and also included Correlation Ventures, Abingworth, Advanced Technology Ventures (ATV) and InterWest Partners.
