    Katerra Gets $130M Funding Round
    Menlo Park-based Katerra, a developer of software for the construction industry which helps with integrating design with material ordering, manufacturing, tracking, and delivery, has raised $130M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Greenoaks Capital, and also included Moore Capital Management, Khosla Ventures, DFJ, Foxconn and Paxion. The funding reportedly values Katerra at more than $1 billion.

    PagerDuty Collects $43.8M In Series C
    San Francisco-based PagerDuty, which develops tools to make sure IT teams respond and manage IT incidents, has raised $43.8M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Accel, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures and Harrison Metal. PagerDuty has now raised $81.7M in total.

    VMware Acquires Wavefront
    Palo Alto-based VMware said on Wednesday that it is buying Wavefront, a provider of metrics monitoring services for the cloud. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Wavefront's President and CEO is Pete Cittadini. Wavefront will become part of VMware's Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings, according to the companies. Wavefront was venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Tenaya Capital.

    BestMile Adds $2M In Funding For Autonomous Fleet Software
    San Francisco- and Lausanne, Switzerland-based BestMile, a developer of software used for the operation of autonomous vehicle fleets, said it has added $2M more in funding to its seed round, bringing the total raised to $5.5M. The new funding came from Partech Ventures, Serena Capital and Airbus Ventures. Reza Malekzadeh of Partech and Jean-Baptiste Dumont of Serena Capital have both joined the company's board with the funding.
