    Workday Acquires Pattern
    Pleasanton-based Workday disclosed on Wednesday that it has acquired the team behind Redwood City-based Pattern, a developer of financial management and HR software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.

    Respond Software Gets $12M
    Mountain View-based Respond Software, which develops automated, cybersecurity analysis software, said today that it has raised $12M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by CRV, and also included Foundation Capital. Respond Software was founded by Mike Armistead (co-founder of Fortify), Robert Hipps and Chris Calvert.

    OneSignal Connects With $7M For Push Notifications
    Mountain View-based OneSignal, a developer of a push notification delivery platform, said on Tuesday that it has raised $7M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by SignalFire, and also included Rakuten Ventures and angels. OneSignal provides push notifications on iOS, Android, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, MacOS, Windows, Alexa and other platforms. The company has now raised $9.3M in total.

    Phil Finds $10M For Prescription Delivery
    San Francisco-based Phil, a prescription management and delivery service for local pharmacies, has raised $10M in a Series A funding, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Crosslink Capital, and also included Eniac Ventures, Softtech VC, Forerunner Ventures, SV Angel, Silicon Valley Bank, and Transmedia Capital.
