    23andMe Gets $250M For DNA Testing Efforts
    Mountain View-based 23andMe announced on Tuesday morning that it has raised $250M in a growth funding round. The round--which had been leaked last week--was led by Sequoia Capital, and also included Euclidean Capital, Altimeter Capital and the Wallenberg Foundation plus Fidelity Management & Research Company and Casdin Capital. 23andMe said that Roelof Botha of Sequoia has joined the company's board, as has Neal Mohan, Chief Product Officer for YouTube (More info...)

    SoftIron Snags $7M For Enterprise tStorage
    Newark, California-based SoftIron says it has raised $7M in a new funding round, for its cloud-based enterprise storage systems. The funding came from Earth Capital Partners (ECP). SoftIron, led by CEO Tim Massey, offers up clustered enterprise storage based on the Ceph open source clustered file system. The company's 5U storage system, HyperDrive, supports up to 192TB of capacity.

    Aria Systems Adds $18M
    San Francisco-based Aria Systems, which develops software that helps enterprises grow their subscription revenues, has raised $18M in a funding round. The funding was led by Madison Bay Capital, and also included Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, InterWest Partners, and Venrock. Aria Systems says it has now raised a total of $150M.
