Packet Design Adds To Board
Santa Clara-based Packet Design Inc. reported Monday that it has appointed AT&T veteran Dr. Hossein Eslambolchi to its board of directors. According to Packet Design, Eslambolchi served as AT&T’s chief technology officer from 2000-2005. In his 19 years with the telecommunications giant, Packet Design said, he also was chief information officer, president of its Global Networking Technology Services unit, and president and CEO of its AT&T Labs subsidiary. He currently chairs 2020 Venture Partners, which provides technology and operations consulting to telecommunications-focused private equity and venture capital firms. Founded in March 2003, Packet Design is a privately held company. Its backers include Advanced Technology Partners, Masthead Venture Partners, the Mayfield Fund, Allegis Capital and Juniper Networks.
