Playnomics Scores $5M For Game Analytics

San Francisco-based Playnomics, which develops predictive analytics software for mobile, social, and browser-based games, said last week that it raised $5M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by VanEdge Capital, and also included FirstMark Capital and XSeed Capital. The firm's founders are Paul Lee and Glenn Entis, formerly of Electronic Arts. The firm said the funds will go towards its gamification mechanics and platform. Tony Lam of Vanedge Capital joins the company's board with the funding. More information »
